Last year I was asked to do some rotoscope animation by Bracey Smith and Neil Dvorak featuring the incredibly talented pianist Nadejda Vlaeva. It's finally showing in NYC at the MoMA and the Lincoln Center on March 23rd and 24th. Roto is a painstaking process involving frame by frame drawing over movie footage but the results look fantastic.
